Founded in 1980, RE/MAX Professionals was the first RE/MAX Office in Ontario. Under the leadership of Frank’s daughter, Pamela Alexander, the brokerage grew exponentially and into multiple locations. In 1995, Pamela joined the Regional Office of RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada (now known as RE/MAX INTEGRA) as the Regional Director and soon after was promoted to CEO & Managing Director, North American Operations.
RE/MAX Professionals Inc. is now under the ownership of Leah Ambler, Pamela’s daughter. Growing up around real estate entrepreneurs and visionaries, Leah witnessed the passion that built the RE/MAX brand in Canada. As a third-generation brokerage owner, Leah is the principle reason that RE/MAX Professionals Inc. maintains its top position in sales in the Etobicoke and Bloor West area year-over-year.
RE/MAX INTEGRA changed the Canadian landscape for real estate and currently owns rights to the brand in 5 states, 5 provinces, and all of Europe. Leah’s brother, Christopher Alexander, is the Executive Vice President and Regional Director, Ontario-Atlantic Region, and her uncle, Michael Polzler, is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director for Europe.
With close ties to its global brand and international real estate arms, RE/MAX Professionals Inc. has been successfully operating for over 40 years.
In the 1970s, Polzler Real Estate – The Action People was a well-respected real estate brokerage with multiple branch offices in the West End, owned and operated by Frank Polzler. A true visionary, Polzler, with a partner in Walter Schneider, recognized the industry needed a paradigm shift and in 1980 bought the rights to RE/MAX Ontario-Atlantic Canada, converting his offices to RE/MAX Professionals Inc.

Leah is a third-generation REALTOR®, having grown up amongst real estate entrepreneurs and visionaries. She witnessed firsthand how the passion that built the RE/MAX brand changed an entire industry. With the insight of those early pioneers, her own experience in real estate sales and business development, Leah adds youthful energy and perspective taking RE/MAX Professionals to a whole new level.

Kingsway Office Manager
Bonnie’s insight and passion for the real estate business comes from over 27 years of experience with several different real estate brands. Bonnie has been with RE/MAX Professionals Inc. since 2000. Bonnie runs the day-to-day operations of the Kingsway branch, including support staff hiring, training, scheduling and supervision, new agent orientation, monitoring agent productivity, independent contractor agreements, and renewals.
East Mall Office Manager
With over 11 years of industry experience starting with receiving her real estate license in 2008, Happy has had roles from Office Receptionist, Licensed Team Member and Team Administrator; to her current role of Office Manager which she has held since 2010.
Using her vast experience, knowledge and genuine love for the industry, Happy’s main focus is on the limitless research of current industry trends, marketing strategies, and training opportunities for our Salespeople.
